Certifications
✓BLS required
Education
✓High School Diploma or GED.
Qualifications
✓Able to assist in lifting patients into wheelchairs or beds/carts.
✓Able to maneuver carts, beds, or wheelchairs for patients of varying size using good body mechanics.
✓No written disciplinary action within the last 12 months.
✓Denotes ADA Essential
✓Follows Appropriate Service Standards
✓Facilitate efficient Operating Room turnover and preparation for the following cases in a timely manner.
✓Transport patients, case carts, instrument trays, and specimens to and from the operating room in a safe and efficient manner.
✓Provide support to the OR suites as necessary and directed.
✓Stock supply closets in the operating rooms as directed.
✓Assist in gathering equipment necessary for the operating rooms.
✓Remove unnecessary equipment return to its proper place.
✓Understands the mechanics of carts, beds, and wheelchairs and able to operate each independently and safely.
✓Assist in opening of sterile supplies as needed and directed
✓Follows AORN and ANSI Guidelines for Perioperative Environment
✓Monday to Friday, No weekends, No Holidays
✓2 - 12 hours shifts per week (0600-1830)
