✓Current BLS for Provider certification from the American Heart Association required.
Education
✓High school diploma or equivalent required.
Qualifications
✓Must have the ability to give and receive verbal and written instructions in English and perform basic computations. Medical terminology desirable.
✓Must be able to work well with other team members.
✓Must be able to perform duties independently with minimal supervision.
✓Must be able to quickly perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
✓Must be willing and able to work alternate shifts (including weekends) and overtime to meet the demands and needs of patient care and the department.
One year previous medical experience in an acute care setting preferred.

What you’ll do
Support nursing staff asSupport nursing staff as part of the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care
Transport blood, specimens, andTransport blood, specimens, and other materials within Surgical Services
Perform housekeeping duties toPerform housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness in operating rooms and surrounding areas
Stock supplies and maintainStock supplies and maintain overall orderliness of assigned department spaces
Assist with patient transportationAssist with patient transportation as needed
