Maintains competency in areas of responsibility and participates in Unit activities that promote a cohesive team. 5.1 Completes on line mandatory continuing education classes as required. Ensure annual PPD is current. Qualifications EDUCATION High School graduate or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE number of years and type required to meet an acceptable level of performance): Two (2) to three (3) years experience preferred in a service oriented department, preferably within the healthcare industry. Ability to adapt within a fast paced customer service environment. Knowledge of Perioperative Services department operations highly desired.
Minimum eighteen months of experience in the Operating Room Associate position at Yale-New Haven Hospital. LICENSURE N/A SPECIAL SKILLS Heavy lifting ability. Physical stamina.
