Our facility features four operating rooms and two treatment rooms, supporting a wide range of specialties including Orthopedic Surgery, Outpatient Joint Replacement, ENT, Pain Management, General Surgery, Podiatry, Gynecology, and Spine procedures. St. Mary's Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Full-time Operating Room RN. If you are passionate about surgical nursing and seek a fulfilling role in a state-of-the-art multispecialty surgery center, we invite you to apply.
Position Overview: As a Operating Room RN, you will play a key role in ensuring the success and safety of surgical procedures across various specialties. Your expertise and commitment to excellence will contribute to the overall patient experience in our surgery center.
Collaborate with the surgical team to prepare and set up the operating room for a variety of procedures. Assess and monitor patients throughout surgical interventions, ensuring their safety and well-being. Administer medications and assist with anesthesia as required.
Maintain sterile techniques and aseptic conditions in the operating room. Provide postoperative care and coordinate patient recovery. Uphold infection control standards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Will serve as backup scrub tech, as needed
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of three years of experience in operating room nursing. BLS and ACLS certifications.
Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
