Scrubs for surgical procedures and prepares the surgical field according to the specific procedure and surgeon's preferences. Maintains strict aseptic techniques while adhering to Operating Room and hospital policies and procedures. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent – Required Operating Room Technician training program, including on-the-job training – Required Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience 1 year of operating room experience – Preferred Licenses & Certifications Certified Operating Room Technician – Required OR Certified Surgical Technician – Required Note: Certification requirements apply only to individuals hired after December 29, 2020.
