The Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) generates important preliminary information to be used by the ophthalmologist; reviews patient status and performs medical tests. The COA assists with the documentation and education for patients seen by the Ophthalmologist. QualificationsREQUIRED

High School/GED Other Licenses/Certifications: ​Active Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) Certification through the IJCAHPO within 2 years of hire. Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
