Assist/and or perform complex clinical diagnostic eye examinations and procedures as delegated by the optometry, ophthalmology and acute eye care teamComplete all ophthalmic imaging tests as ordered by the physicians such Amler tests; Stero- tests, Applanation tonometry, Togopen Visual Field GoldmanPerform complex clinical diagnostic eye imaging and procedures within the cope of certification; patient intake activities, routine technical procedures, administer topical medications, assist with proceduresDemonstrate proactive, professional communication across and within the department to facilitate smooth workflow, and to ensure department is positively represented throughout the organizationREQUIREMENTSCompletion of an approved ophthalmic technician program and one year of
