✓The Department of Ophthalmology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified optometrist to join our established academic practice.
✓Board-eligible or board-certified Optometrist
✓Eligible for licensure in the state of Minneosta
Education
✓Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
Qualifications
✓Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across a broad spectrum of optometric services
✓Interest in academic medicine, including active participation in teaching, research, and other departmental scholarly activities
✓Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for working within a multidisciplinary team
Completion of an accredited optometry residency is preferred. Equivalent clinical experience, including substantial experience (e.g., 5+ years) in a tertiary or academic practice environment, may be considered in lieu of residency training.
