Monday - Friday Hours: 2pm- 10:30pm On Call - Rotating Call after 8-9months Overview Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment and is known for outstanding patient care. With 64 private patient rooms, 14 operating rooms and four intensive care unit rooms, the facility was designed to provide a comforting environment that is innovative, efficient and centered on the patient experience.
The campus features a park-like setting with landscaping and a walking path that winds through the grounds and connects to Millennium Park. Barnes-Jewish West County Central Sterile Processing Department provides a service that is an integral part of the quality of care that we provide for our patients. We ensure the integrity and sterility of our products and services for our customers.
We control all parts of the sterilization process: decontamination, prep & pack, documentation of sterilization records, and sterile storage.
Role Purpose Serves as the primary contact and liaison between patient care areas, ancillary and support departments within the hospital. Interacts with all levels of management to coordinates business, administrative and non-patient care operational activities. Responsibilities Plans, develops, recommends and coordinates processes and strategies to identify revenue opportunities.
Collaborates with directors, managers and other disciplines to plan and implement projects related to patient care area. Creates effective work plans and provides input to identify correct resources, processes and space needed for the assigned patient care areas. Facilitates acquisition of supplies, equipment and services.
