You’ll need
Education
High School diploma or equivalent. Some College coursework in business or related field is preferred.
Qualifications
✓JOB SUMMARY: Performs housekeeping duties as designated to ensure a safe environment by AORN Standards.
✓Works with surgical team to move large equipment and supplies into the OR to assist in set up.
✓Works with the surgical team to remove dirty instruments, suction canisters, and other items as required.
✓Ability to: a) Read, write and comprehend medical terminology
✓Effectively convey verbal and written information; c) follow directions; d) perform
✓simple mathematical calculations correctly; e) respond to emergency situations
✓appropriately, f) adapt hours of availability to variable and changing needs of the
✓hospital, including all shifts; g) effectively function as a member of a collaborative team.
✓organize and manage time effectively, setting appropriate priorities; i) comply with
✓TJC and OSHA standards; and j) maintain confidentiality.
Work Orientation & Experience: Basic computer experience, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) Proven experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain management, preferably in a healthcare setting. preferred
