OR Surgical Scrub Nurse

Come and see! Responsibilities Assists with surgical procedures from general surgery to orthopedics. Acts as primary scrub handling instruments, supplies and equipment during procedures.
Vigilantly maintains the sterile field at all times. Helps maintain equipment, instruments and inventory. Note: This is not a Registered Nurse Circulator position.
Requirements High School Diploma Graduation from accredited School of Nursing Current Utah R. N. license, current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certification Minimum of one year of work experience as Surgical Scrub Nurse (Preferred) Successful completion of an accredited O. R.
Technician program or equivalency Excellent communication skills Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a demanding environment Ability to prioritize, use good judgment and remain calm during moments of crisis. Exhibit clear attention to detail and anticipate the needs of surgeons and OR staff.
