Work Shifts 9:00 A. M – 5:00 P. M Duties & Responsibilities Serves as the Oracle Cloud HCM Reporting Lead for the Payroll Technology Services team, responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and governance of enterprise reporting and analytics across Oracle Cloud HCM.
Leads the creation of operational and executive dashboards, BI Publisher reports, OTBI analyses, and reporting solutions that support Payroll, Human Resources, Time and Labor, and Absence Management. Acts as the primary reporting subject matter expert, partnering Payroll, Human Resources, Time & Labor, Benefits, Finance, Data and Analytics Team, and business stakeholders to deliver accurate, secure, and scalable reporting solutions.
Supports quarterly Oracle Cloud releases by performing impact assessments, regression testing, report validation, and ongoing optimization of reporting assets. Provides technical leadership, establishes reporting standards, and mentors team members on Oracle reporting tools and best practices. SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of Oracle Cloud HCM reporting solutions using BI Publisher (BIP), Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), dashboards, and HCM Extracts. Serve as the reporting lead for the Payroll Technology Services team and primary point of contact for enterprise HCM reporting initiatives. Partner with Payroll, Human Resources, Time & Labor, Benefits, Finance, Data and Analytics Team, and business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into technical reporting solutions.
Develop executive dashboards, operational reports, scorecards, and analytics that support strategic and operational decision-making. Design and optimize BI Publisher data models, templates, bursting solutions, and scheduled report delivery. Build and maintain OTBI analyses, dashboards, prompts, and reusable reporting components.
Establish reporting standards, naming conventions, documentation, and governance processes to ensure consistency and maintainability. Perform report validation, regression testing, and defect resolution during Oracle Cloud quarterly releases and system upgrades. Analyze Oracle release documentation to identify reporting impacts and coordinate testing activities.
Troubleshoot reporting issues related to security, data accuracy, performance, and report execution. Collaborate with Oracle Consulting Services, Information Technology, and functional teams to support new implementations, enhancements, and production support activities. Ensure reporting solutions comply with organizational security policies, data governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
Develop technical documentation including report specifications, data mappings, testing scripts, and user guides. Train team members on Oracle Cloud reporting tools, reporting best practices, and troubleshooting techniques. Additional responsibilities include: Participate in design sessions for new Oracle Cloud functionality to identify reporting impacts and opportunities.
Support data validation efforts during implementations, integrations, and conversions. Assist with report security design and role-based access validation. Recommend reporting automation opportunities that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
Provide production support for reporting incidents and ad hoc reporting requests. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate report signoff activities with business stakeholders. Maintain an inventory of enterprise reports, dashboards, and reporting documentation.
Continuously evaluate Oracle reporting capabilities and recommend enhancements that improve reporting functionality and user experience.
1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics/Statistics, Telecommunications, Data Communications, or a related field of study; and 2. Five (5) years of progressive, responsible experience in the field of data processing, computer systems and applications.
Operations Specialty requires supervisory experience (5 years). Network Services requires a telecommunications background and experience. 3. Advanced knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM reporting architecture Expert-level experience with BI Publisher (BIP), HCM Extracts and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) Experience developing executive dashboards and operational analytics Strong SQL and data analysis skills required.
