About the role

The Organ Procurement Specialist is responsible for the preparation, operation, and monitoring of organ preservation systems used during donor organ recovery and transportation. This role works closely with transplant surgeons, organ procurement organizations (OPOs), and transplant coordinators to optimize donor organ preservation and support successful transplantation outcomes.
