You’ll need
Licensure
✓Licensure or eligible for licensure by the Indiana Professional Licensing Board required.
Certifications
✓Certification as an athletic trainer by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification required.
✓Must have current CPR certification.
✓Addendums are required for 0153 Nurse Leader, 0249 Registry RN, 0252 Registered Nurse, 0235 Advanced Registered Nurse, and 0236 Expert Registered Nurse.
Education
✓Must have a Bachelor's Degree or a Master's Degree in Athletic Training. Master's Degree preferred.
Preferred 1 year experience in athletic training program or similar setting.
Qualifications
Membership in national and state athletic training association preferred.
About the role
Primary role is to assess patient needs in order to perform appropriate interventions to support the patient in the orthopedic service line continuum of care. Works collaboratively with various members of the health care team to provide guidance and support to patient to reduce obstacles of care, and to facilitate a clear path back to baseline.
