Qualifications
✓Knowledge of medical and nursing principals, procedures, and community resources.
✓Skill in eliciting history from patients, performing physical exams and formulating assessments of and treatment plans for patients.
✓Demonstrates strong surgical assist skills within scope of practice.
✓Ordering appropriate diagnostic studies to aid in diagnosis.
✓Knowledge of appropriate administration and prescription of medications.
✓Ability to exercise initiative and judgment in selecting proper treatment.
✓Ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations.
✓Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, other departments and the public.
✓Strong organizational skills.
✓Ability to demonstrate excellent work with minimal supervision.
✓Microsoft Office products.
1-3 years Relevant experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation. Epic preferred.

About the role

Under general supervision, works with physician, clinical, and leadership staff to provide specialty care to patients. Examines and diagnoses patients and develops treatment plans. As appropriate for clinical setting provides treatment for orthopedic related injuries, emergencies, follow up, screening and testing.
