Licensure
✓Graduate of an accredited college or university with at least a master’s degree in a behavioral science discipline (must be independently licensed to practice in Arkansas).
✓Licensed in Arkansas as a Mental Health Professional with at least two years post-master’s experience in psychiatric or mental health setting.
Qualifications
✓Must have completed hospital and clinic orientation period in order to act as a team leader.
✓The therapist must possess effective communication skills and must demonstrate leadership ability and interest in professional growth.
✓Must be readily adaptable to changing physician/practice demands, without deterioration under stress
✓and must have a basic concept of customer service, scheduling, and counseling.
✓The therapist must possess demonstrated knowledge, training and skills necessary and appropriate to the patient-specific population.
✓Therapist must be able to set priorities and effectively delegate/coordinate interdisciplinary care based on the needs of the patient and clinic.
✓Working Relationships : Ability to function with minimum supervision and interface appropriately with healthcare team.
