Per Diem Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapy HealthWorks | Morgantown, WV Position: Hand Therapist or Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) Setting: Outpatient Orthopedics Location: HealthWorks in Morgantown, WV
Per Diem / PRN / As Needed Incentives: In-person and online CEU Courses HealthWorks is seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapist to join our growing hand therapy team in Morgantown, West Virginia. This position offers flexible weekday coverage, including occasional evening hours until 7:00 p.m. The primary caseload consists of upper extremity and hand conditions, including tendon injuries, sprains, strains, post-operative fractures, and other orthopedic diagnoses.
We are looking for a clinician with strong hand therapy skills, including experience fabricating custom splints . You will work alongside experienced hand therapists, including Certified Hand Therapists (CHTs), in a collaborative environment focused on exceptional patient outcomes and clinical growth. Qualifications Occupational Therapist (OT) license or eligibility in West Virginia Minimum of one year of outpatient experience Experience in hand therapy and custom splinting strongly preferred Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) is preferred, but not required New graduates with Level II fieldwork experience in hand therapy are encouraged to apply What We're Looking For A dependable and flexible clinician who enjoys treating upper extremity conditions Ability to provide coverage at our Maple Drive location Interest in supporting the growth of hand therapy services across nearby locations as referral volume expands Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
Weekday, as-needed coverage between 8 AM-7 PM. Benefits for our PRN and per diem clinicians will include access to our in-person and CEU-accredited courses. If you perform more than 1,000 hours in a calendar year, a 401(k) with a company match is available.

Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs. Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
