Certifications
✓Registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) in MRI.
✓Must be able to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision.
✓Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.
✓Must be familiar with age-specific criteria.
✓Must obtain registry within 1 year of hire.
✓Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
Education
✓Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
Qualifications
✓1+ years, General MRI exams, implants, elastography, and defecography. Rotate to other locations as needed for training/staffing.
✓Ability to deal effectively with stressful situations.
✓Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
✓Computer literacy.
✓Ability to work overtime as required.
✓Ability to learn and use new processes, tools, and equipment as required.
