You’ll need
Licensure
✓Must hold or be eligible to receive an Occupational Therapy license in the state where services will be provided within the first 90 days of employment.
Certifications
✓Must be certified in CPR or must become certified within the first 90 days of employment.
✓Must maintain all certifications and licensure according to the expiration date.
✓Addendums are required for 0153 Nurse Leader, 0249 Registry RN, 0252 Registered Nurse, 0235 Advanced Registered Nurse, and 0236 Expert Registered Nurse.
Education
✓Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy, with an Occupational Therapy degree as follows: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree if graduated prior 1/1/2002
✓Master's degree required if graduated after 1/1/2002
✓International Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school and possess a minimum of a Bachelor??s degree in Occupational Therapy.
✓Work experience preferred, but not required, other than clinical experience within educational training program.
A Masters degree is preferred.
Qualifications
✓American Occupational Therapy Association membership preferred. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with 100 pounds, and may be required to push up to 300 pounds. Must be willing to work at other locations as assigned.
About the role
Provides professional patient care and practices occupational therapy by evaluating, planning, implementing and documenting treatment. Assesses plans and carries out programs of purposeful activity designed to assist in the rehabilitation of medically necessary patients as prescribed by the physician.
