Responsibilities Quail Run Hospital is a 115-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona. Quail Run features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Quail Run Behavioral Health.

Website: https://jobs.uhsinc.com/quail-run-behavioral-health PRN - Weekday and Evenings Job Description The Outpatient Therapist provides clinical services and coordination of care for individuals seeking outpatient services at Quail Run Behavioral Health. Services include therapeutic treatment skills training to achieve an optimal level of emotional health, basic consultation, psychoeducation, specialized clinical therapy services for clients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term family therapy and information and referrals as needed.

Job Duties/Responsibilities Performance: Formulate and conduct educational, therapeutic, process, and/or support groups. Communicate effectively with clients, families, health care team members and community providers regarding client’s status and progress. Interact and communicate with community agencies in assessment of and service to clients.

Provide liaison and referral services to community agencies and appears in court when requested or subpoenaed. Treatment Planning: Demonstrate knowledge of biopsychosocial factors and current DSM-IV/V diagnoses related to the ages of the clients served and incorporate this knowledge into client treatment plans. Participate in, and effectively contributes to, client care conferences, treatment planning meetings, and/or treatment planning rounds.

Intervention: Utilize a variety of techniques to assist in the resolution of client problems. Effectively employ principles of communication, interviewing techniques, problem solving and crisis intervention when performing psychotherapeutic interventions. Ensure interventions are carried out in the client’s plan of care.

S., Puerto Rico, Ireland and United Kingdom. www.uhs.com. Qualifications Job Requirements Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or Professional Counseling required. Master’s Level Licensure through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners in area of specialty required or be able to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in psychiatric behavioral health preferred. Handle With Care and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Providers required. Training provided at the facility.

Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
