Moyer at emoyer8@pennstatehealth.psu.edu for additional information SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Advanced Lung Center Physician Assistant provides specialized outpatient care for patients with pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary fibrosis, and other advanced lung diseases. Working in close collaboration with Advanced Lung Care Physicians, the PA evaluates patients, develops and implements treatment plans, monitors disease progression, and coordinates multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, managing medications and therapeutic interventions, providing patient and family education, and facilitating timely referrals and follow-up care. The PA maintains an independent clinic schedule while partnering closely with physicians to ensure evidence-based, high-quality care. This role is essential in improving patient access, enhancing clinical outcomes, and supporting continuity of care for patients with complex pulmonary conditions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S): Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of employment National Certification in State of employment or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in the State of employment Basic Life Support (BLS) certification WHY PENN STATE HEALTH?
