One inpatient service within Premier Health. This hybrid role supports continuity of care, acute neurological management, and collaborative practice with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and multidisciplinary teams. The Premier Physician Network offers a variety of Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant positions with varying degrees of responsibility. Advanced Practice Providers, in conjunction with the center’s physicians and clinical staff, are responsible for exemplary patient primary health care and continuity of medical services under the direction of supervising physicians. Responsibilities vary by position and specialty, and APPs must remain accessible to their physicians, staff, and supervisors to ensure high-quality, coordinated care. Nature and Scope Knowledge of professional medical practice to give and evaluate patient care. Skilled in applying and modifying the principles, methods and techniques of medicine to provide ongoing patient care. Competent in taking medical history, assessing medical condition and interpreting findings. Ability to maintain quality assurance and quality control standards. Capable of reacting calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Excellent communication skills with both patients and colleagues are essential.

Outpatient Neurology Clinic * Conduct independent and collaborative patient visits for a broad range of neurological conditions including headache disorders, epilepsy, neuropathies, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, and cognitive disorders. * Perform neurological histories and examinations, order and interpret diagnostic studies (MRI/CT, EEG, EMG, laboratory tests), and develop evidence-based treatment plans. * Provide medication management, patient counseling, and chronic disease follow-up. * Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialty services, and community resources. * Support clinic operations including triage, urgent evaluations, and post-hospital follow-up for Neuro
One discharges. * Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical protocol development. Neuro
One Inpatient Service (Premier Health) * Evaluate and manage hospitalized patients with acute neurological conditions such as stroke/TIA, seizures/status epilepticus, neuromuscular emergencies, encephalopathy, and postoperative neurosurgical cases. * Perform daily rounds, document progress notes, and collaborate with attending neurologists and neurosurgeons. * Respond to inpatient neurology consults from emergency medicine, hospital medicine, and surgical teams. * Assist with stroke alerts, acute neurological assessments, and coordination of diagnostic testing. * Support care transitions including discharge planning, medication reconciliation, and communication with outpatient providers. * Participate in Neuro
