You’ll need
Licensure
✓Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Single State - State Board of Nursing in the State of Kansas.
Certifications
✓PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA) within 180 Days
✓Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
✓Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) within 14 days
Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) - Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) preferred
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) - Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) preferred
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) within 180 Days preferred
Education
✓Bachelor Degree Nursing from an accredited college or university.
✓Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice required.
✓Knowledge of principles, methods and techniques involved in performing general nursing services and adapting or modifying standards of nursing practices for care of specific medical cases.
Fetal Heart Monitor (AWHONN, ETC.) - Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) within 1 Year preferred
