You’ll need
Licensure
✓Emergency Medical Services Provider License
✓NREMT-Paramedic or equivalent state licensure, ACLS, PALS, BLS
✓Paramedic NH (EMT1002) • Emergency Medical Technician - NH (EMT1000) • Emergency Medical Technician Registration (NREMT)
Certifications
✓Maintain required certifications
✓NREMT-P
✓CPR
✓ACLS
✓PALS
CCP-C or FP-C preferred.
Education
✓High school diploma/GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
Qualifications
✓Attend training sessions as required
✓Must have an unrestricted driver’s license; clean driving record.
✓Ability to rapidly assess a variety of situations, make appropriate decisions applicable to state protocols, departmental policies etc.
✓Vision: Must have corrected or uncorrected vision sufficient to drive, read monitors, medication labels, and navigate challenging environments.
✓Hearing: Adequate hearing to detect alarms, communicate with dispatch and partners, and respond to emergency signals.
✓Speech: Clear and articulate verbal communication to coordinate with patients, families, and interagency personnel.
✓(BLS) Basic Life Support • (ACLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support • (PALS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support
At least 2 years of ALS field experience preferred.
