LP - Licensed Paramedic Current certification as a Paramedic in the State of Georgia and National Registry Preferred
Certifications
✓All staff members must have a BLS to work in this unit.
✓RN’s must have ACLS and PALS required.
✓BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS Certification Upon Hire Required and
✓ACLS Upon Hire Required and
✓PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Paramedics new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date within 180 Days Required
Education
✓H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
Qualifications
✓Skill and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in-writing.
✓Skill and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
✓Ability to work as a member of a team.
✓Skill and ability in Microsoft Office applications.
1 year of experience as a Paramedic Preferred
