Our service operates a fleet of seven ambulances and one SUV, providing critical 911 emergency response throughout Marshall County and portions of Jasper and Grundy Counties. We also provide interfacility transport services for several UnityPoint Health locations. Responsibilities Provide advanced life support and prehospital care within established EMS guidelines Assess patient needs and adjust care based on condition, setting, and response Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and care team members Complete timely and accurate documentation of patient care Safely transport patients, including those requiring behavioral health support Maintain ambulance and secure car readiness through routine checks and restocking Clean, prepare, and organize vehicles and equipment for emergency response Support hospital-based care needs, including appropriate EMS-level procedures Assist nursing and emergency department teams as needed Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required Successful completion of EMS paramedic training from an approved training course. License(s)/Certification(s): Current Paramedic licensure/certification in Iowa Must have a minimum of two years driving experience with no record of DUI, DWI, or similar alcohol or drug related offenses over the past five years. No record of reckless driving, careless driving, speeding over 15 miles above the speed limit, fleeing or eluding a police officer, chemical test refusal, leaving the scene of an accident, driving after revocation or suspension, or passing a stopped school bus in the last five years.
