✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Illinois Department of Public Health Paramedic License in good standing.
✓Critical Care Paramedic employees must also have program certification and possess ITLS or PHTLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
Certifications
✓CPR - American Heart Association.
✓ACLS - a current American Heart Association ACLS certification, maintained in good standing.
Qualifications
✓Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. Where applicable and as required must maintain Continuing Education per the local Medical Control Authorities and the state’s Department of Consumer & Industry Services.
✓Contact With Others: Co-workers, clients, patients and families, medical personnel. Must be able to write, read and speak English fluently.
✓Analytical Demands : Must be able to think and act calmly and quickly in emergency situations.
✓Valid IL Driver's License.
