Position: Certified Nurses Aide in Avalon Health Center at Stone Ridge
Part Time (16-hours/week), 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm) Week 1: Sunday, Monday Week 2: Monday, Saturday Part Time (8-hours/week), 3rd Shift (11pm-7am) Week 1: Saturday Week 2: Sunday Starting

Gives treatments, performs tests, carries out procedures and collects specimens as instructed. Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated. Transfers, transports, and escorts residents as needed.
Answers signal lights promptly. Changes bed linens, makes beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly.
Successful completion of a State approved nursing assistant training program. Registration with State of Connecticut registry required. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred. Ability to legibly track and document care given to each resident. Please Note: Consideration for an interview requires your work history/resume be submitted with this application.
All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
