Licensure
✓Licensure/ Certification: Board Certification by an OSF approved certifying body.
Education
✓Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, university, seminary or divinity school.
✓Master’s degree from an accredited college, university, seminary or divinity school or acceptable equivalent.
Qualifications
✓Successful completion of two units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) from an approved OSF CPE provider or completion within one year of hire.
✓Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
✓Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
✓Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
✓Solid standing in the Church through ecclesiastical endorsement.
✓Must meet requirements of the local Catholic Diocese regarding the appointment pastoral care staff of a Catholic healthcare institution.
✓Ability and desire to work with patients/family, clergy, staff and volunteers of varying faith backgrounds.
✓Flexibility in work hours, programs, and services and the ability to take on-call shifts nights and weekends as needed Ability to articulate the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Facilities.
