You’ll need
Education
✓Bachelor's degree in Sciences or Business and a minimum of two years in an academic or equivalent experience in a corporate environment with a dedicated staff of intellectual property professionals and well established IP management and protection policies required.
Advanced degree like a Master's or PhD is preferred.
Qualifications
✓Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, be detailed oriented, be able to manager large number of on-going projects simultaneously and effectively communicate as a liaison among inventors, Department of Business Development and Patent Counsel.
✓Must pass the Patent Agent exam within one year of employment.

About the role
The position involves evaluations of invention disclosures coming from Mayo's research and clinical activities and assistance in processing these disclosures and any resulting patent applications.
