You’ll need
Licensure
✓Texas licensed or ability to obtain
Certifications
✓AP/CP Board Certification required
Qualifications
✓Minimum 5 years hospital-based Medical Director Experience required
✓Must have leadership experience in pathology departments at multiple hospitals; preferably overseeing several locations
✓Excellent interpersonal skills and experience leading a large group and mentoring new pathologists required

· Assesses test utilization· Assesses test utilization patterns, performance improvement data, quality control data, regulatory and accreditation standards, process improvement and medical staff satisfaction

· Collaborate with laboratory· Collaborate with laboratory administration to ensure compliance with CAP guidelines
