Evening Shift Description: Position Purpose Completes patient registrations/pre-registration in the ED. Processes include obtaining accurate demographic, insurance and patient liability information. Responsible for working with multiple department/hospital and web-based systems.
Performs complete and accurate pre-registrations, registration, and admission functions Verifies insurance requirements, obtains and understands insurance benefits Ensures that all entries concerning demographic, financial and advanced directives are Collects non-covered fees
Minimum High school or equivalent One year experience in an accredited hospital or physician's office preferred Strong interpersonal, communication and interview skills Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computer systems and computer devices Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurances Position Highlights Full time 32 hr on evening shift and includes every other weekend--shift & weekend differentials apply!

$17.50 - $25.00 per hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The
