Baptist South is hiring a Patient Access Representative II to join our Patient access team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN opportunity. Full availability required, including nights and weekends.

Patient Access Representative II,

Registers patients accurately and efficiently Utilization of multiple systems and interfaces Cross-Trained in order to work in multiple patient access areas Maintains service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters Contributes to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.) Possesses a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO Maintains a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members Able to articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms Maintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines Experience

1-2 years Customer Service Experience Required 1-2 years Healthcare experience Preferred 1-2 years Insurance experience Preferred Education & Credential

High School Diploma Required
