You’ll need
Education
✓High School Diploma or GED
Qualifications
✓+1 year as a patient access representative, customer service rep, or similar administrative role
✓Excellent customer service skills; Must speak, read, and write English fluently
✓Ability to multi- task, handle problems, interruptions, and other stressful situations in a professional manner.
✓Demonstrate planning, organizational and ability to follow-through until a process is complete.
✓Interaction with Other Departments and Other Relationships
✓Interacts with all visitors to the department which may be patients, family members or staff from other departments within UMC or TTUHSC.
✓Physical Capabilities
✓Should be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Work requires frequent sitting and walking. Stressful atmosphere at times with many emotional demands. Must possess near visual acuity to read documents and computer records.
Basic medical terminology is a plus preferred
