✓3+ years in similar field involving insurance verification, 3rd party payors, patient accounts and business office functions
✓1+ years of experience in billing with ICD 10 and CPT coding
✓Customer service experience
✓Good knowledge of managed care contracts
✓Solid working knowledge of healthcare/clinical/billing operations in a multi-specialty, multi-payor environment
✓Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
✓Proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Excel and Word
✓Basic knowledge of health insurance
✓Type 30 wpm
✓Windows 95, Computer skills
✓Fast and accurate data entry skills
✓Demonstrated effective communication skills
✓Demonstrated ability to learn technological aspects of billing operations. (e.g. Imaging Software, Internet applications, and HIPPA transaction sets: Pymt Posting, Claim Submission)
8+ years of experience in designated supervision field with 5+ years supervision responsibilities preferred
EPIC Experience will train onsite preferred
Billing knowledge of Epic sw and PCS systems preferred
