✓In lieu of billing experience, the candidate may have an Associate Degree in health care billing, a Bachelors in a business related field or 12 hours of business courses from an accredited college in the last 4 years.

Qualifications

✓Must be proficient in using the keyboard of a personal computer in a Windows network environment and possess a typing speed of 45 wpm.

✓The incumbent must demonstrate, through testing, a thorough understanding of healthcare insurance, government regulations, and the UB claim form, along with the ability to read and interpret ICD10, CPT, and HCPCS Coding Terminology.
