✓High school graduate or equivalent
✓1+ years of previous medical billing experience OR a graduate of Medical Billing School
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of working aging reports, researching unpaid claims, and submitting appeals to insurance companies.
✓Ability to answer patient and telephone inquiries related to billed claims with courtesy and thoroughness.
✓Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
✓Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
✓Demonstrated ability to handle difficult situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
