✓Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
✓Integrative Agitation Management (IAMTAC) required within 30 days of hire.
Education
✓High School diploma or equivalent required.
Qualifications
✓Experience in a Customer Service related position.
✓Connects patients and visitors with necessary resources, such as mobility equipment, escort and valet services.
✓Pushes and pulls wheelchairs occupied by patients in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
✓Assures that all wheelchairs are maintained in an orderly and sanitary condition; maintains transport equipment, and promptly pulls any unserviceable equipment out of service and delivers it to Engineering for repair, reporting all unsafe conditions to supervisor in a timely manner
✓Acknowledges any patient relations issues and ensures proper follow up.
✓Acknowledges visitors and ensures hospital visitor management policies are adhered to.
✓Liaison to Volunteer team
✓Assist Patient Experience team with administrative and clerical tasks as assigned.
✓Secondary (not modifiable)
Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
