How you'll contribute A PCA who excels in this role: Under the supervision of an RN/LPN, assists in ensuring optimal patient care and provides direct patient care. Completes required documentation in the patient's record.
Maintains equipment and supplies and participates in quality assurance activities. Communicates appropriate information within and between departments. Assists with and participates in staff education and pursues continuing education for personal development.
Applies knowledge of age-related factors appropriately when caring for patients and follows applicable policies and procedures.

High school diploma or GED required. Licenses: Nursing Assistant Certificate preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Minimum Work
Previous relevant experience or completion of basic skills as a registered nursing student.
