You’ll need
Certifications
✓Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), state approved Certification required.
✓Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
Education
✓High School Diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
✓Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

What you’ll do

Carry out general PCACarry out general PCA responsibilities such as recording vital signs, assisting with bathing, feeding, toileting, repositioning, collecting specimens, and transporting patients while maintaining monitoring connections
Monitor Coronary equipment, observeMonitor Coronary equipment, observe rhythm strips, recognize alarms, and alert nurses to changes such as arrhythmias or abnormal heart rates
Assist with lead andAssist with lead and wire care, replace or secure connections, ensure monitors stay accurate and troubleshoot any issues that may interrupt monitoring
