Licensure
✓Certified Nurse Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician-Basic
Certifications
✓Nursing students actively attending an accredited nursing program are exempt of certification requirement provided a satisfactory completion of first clinical/foundations course.
✓Basic Life Support from a hospital-based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program.
✓Aggression Management certification within 90 days of hire
✓EKG, and/or Phlebotomy competency validation required, as applicable to specialty area within 6 months of hire.
✓Other certificates as required by unit/service/clinic.
Education
✓High School diploma or GED plus technical skills/training appropriate to the specialty area.
✓Two (2) years related clinical experience (experience in nursing program clinical rotations is applicable)

✓Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact)
✓Proficiencies: Personal Computer, MS Word, Typing
