Certifications
✓BLS certification
✓Aggression Management certification within 90 days of hire
✓Other certificates as required by unit/service/clinic
Education
✓High School diploma or GED plus technical skills/training appropriate to the specialty area
Qualifications
✓The Patient Care Assistant II (PCA II) is accountable for supporting patient care activities, under the supervision of a registered nurse, on inpatient nursing units
✓Two (2) years related clinical experience (experience in nursing program clinical rotations is applicable)
✓EKG, and/or Phlebotomy competency validation required, as applicable to specialty area within 6 months of hire
