$17.50 - $24.50 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. Hospital Sisters Health System is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our Regional Float team, serving as a support resource to our dedicated nursing staff committed to providing the highest quality care to our patients. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers, looking for an opportunity to deliver bedside care and support to patients in a hospital-based environment.
Position Specifics: Core Function: Nursing support
36hrs/wk, Nights, 7p-7a Facility: St. Elizabeth's Hospital Clinic Location: O'Fallon, IL Compensation that aligns with your experience This position will be asked to help cover assignments at our sister HSHS ministries in Southern IL: Breese, Greenville, Highland. HSHS will pay a mileage reimbursement for the commute.
Education Qualifications High School Diploma or GED is preferred. Experience Qualifications 1 year of experience in acute care setting is preferred. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) certification in state of practice is preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required upon 30 days of hire.
