Previous nursing assistant experience, CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant). preferred
BCLS certification. preferred
Education
✓High school graduate or equivalent.
Qualifications
✓Excellent bedside manner and customer service & computer skills. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Successful completion of a nursing assistant program (with proof of completion). Nursing student after successful completion of their first quarter/semester of nursing school. preferred
About the role
Basic Function: Provides direct patient care appropriate to age, culture, and developmental needs under the direction of the Professional Nurse. Works closely with patients to provide physical assistance with daily living tasks, such as dressing, bathing, feeding, toileting, vital signs, catheter care, answering call lights, assisting with ambulation, turning, and ensuring patient safety.
