Education
✓High School Diploma/GED
Qualifications
✓1+ years of experience working in a customer service environment OR working in a professional/military setting using a computer and telephone
✓Ability to work Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm including weekends/holidays and OT as needed based on business need
✓Ability to work on-site role at our Walnut Creek, CA facility
1+ years of experience with prior authorizations preferred
1+ years of professional experience using electronic charting or electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) systems preferred
Experience with using Microsoft Office products preferred
Experience in a Hospital Patient Registration Department, Physician's office, OR any medical setting preferred
Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred
Understanding of insurance policies and procedures preferred
Experience in insurance reimbursement and financial verification preferred
Ability to perform basic mathematics for financial payments preferred
Experience in requesting and processing financial payments preferred
