✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Current active Pharmacy Licensure (PH) for work state required.
Completion of an ASHP accredited residency training program and/or certification through a certifying program (Board of Pharmacy Specialties, etc.) preferred.
Certifications
✓Ability to supervise certified pharmacy technicians and pharmacist interns in departmental tasks and duties
American Heart Association Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred.
American Heart Association Advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certification preferred.
Education
✓Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
Qualifications
✓Must be at least 18 years of age with no current drug or alcohol addition/convictions of any drug related misdemeanor or felony
✓Maintain competency in pharmaceutical knowledge and skills
✓Effective verbal and written communication skills
✓Ability to prioritize time and tasks according to patient needs and departmental duties
✓Ability to practice pharmacy with integrity towards coworkers and patients
✓Ability accept and respond constructively to feedback and criticism
✓Ability to learn computer and application skills as applicable to role
✓Ability to make judgements in demanding situations
✓Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities, including reacting to frequent changes in duties and volume of work
Two years of health care pharmacy experience preferred.
