About the role

Patient Care Tech (PCT), under the direction of the nurse, cares for all age groups and assists with all aspects of custodial care, such as activities of daily living, monitoring of routine vital signs, maintaining a clean environment, errands, and other department routine activities. The PCT may also assist the nurse with procedures which may not be performed independently by the PCT.
