You’ll need
Licensure
Completion of approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic (EMT-P) certification, which includes BLS, or currently enrolled in nursing school. preferred
Certifications
✓BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Education
✓High School or GED.
Qualifications
Experience in Phlebotomy or completion of a Phlebotomy course. preferred
Demonstrated proficiency in phlebotomy. preferred
2 years of experience in acute or long-term care. preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology. preferred

About the role
Works under moderate supervision of nursing and medical staff to perform all duties of a PCT, which include assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
