As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) on our Heart Floor at The Heart Hospital at Deaconess Gateway, you'll be an essential member of a collaborative care team dedicated to delivering exceptional cardiovascular care.
Working alongside experienced nurses and healthcare professionals, you'll provide hands-on support that directly impacts patient comfort, recovery, and overall experience. Key responsibilities include: Assisting patients with daily personal care needs such as bathing, oral hygiene, toileting, and linen changes Supporting patient mobility, transfers, ambulation, and repositioning to promote safety and recovery Monitoring and documenting vital signs and other important patient information Accurately recording observations in patient charts to support quality care Providing compassionate emotional support to patients and families throughout their healthcare journey Every interaction offers an opportunity to improve a patient's day and contribute to positive outcomes.
