✓Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift. *Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.

Qualifications
✓Knowledge of medical terminology, patient care needs and their role in interprofessional team.
✓Ability to complete delegated tasks within scope of role.
✓Knowledge of personal care and hygiene necessary for quality of life, and ability to apply this knowledge to patients in need on a daily basis.
✓Knowledge of the risks faced by patients in a healthcare environment, and the ability to take steps to reduce these risks.
✓Knowledge of how to convey respect and collaborate with each patient, family and/or designated care partner in care.
